Wireless Access

I cannot install a Verizon broadband card (wireless modem). My wireless adapter and LAN adapter work fine. The problem appears to be related to Services that are needed. Specifically, the following service will not start:

Start
Error 120: The specified module could not be found


Event Viewer shows the following error:

The Remote Access Connection Manager service terminated with the following error:
The specified module could not be found.


Error
Remote Access Connection Manager failed to start because the Point to Point Protocol failed to initialize. The specified module could not be found.

PS, the error occurs when running the Verizon installation wizard, just at the point where the wizard attempts to dial the phone number associated with the card.

I successfully installed and ran a Sprint broadband card, but their coverage in my area is inadequate.
