6_5_22 Native NBX Mode

I have ext 3000 (no associated Telephone or Hunt Group) and cant remove that corrupt extension. Bot systems haveteh same database, exporting the database users and removing the ext doesnt help in either box. Changing the ext doesnt help. If I try to remove the user I lose access to teh GUI. There has to be a way to remove ext 3000, this database has 200 users, 15 VTLs, major dial plan work and lots of other stuff. Rebuilding teh database from scratch is not an option. The V3000 is my test box, teh V3001 is the primary box at HQ.

I have 10 V3000 or V3001 systems across thecountry and one n Panama. I use my WAN to make free calls between locations. Panama hops off when calling US 1 + LD numbers. I just installed the latest patches from 10-20-2010.

So you are running 6.5.22 code with patch P03 ?

How many total extensions ? User/tels ?

If you go into modify ext's and try to change the ext number , what error do you get ?

what do you get when you try to delete it ?

What happens when you remoe the telephone only  , then try to remove the user ?

So, you change the extension , then try to delete it and the system freezes .

 Hmm.. I assume if you change it back the same thing ?

Can you open a case ? would be intersting to get the DB and check it out .

I cant open a case, thats another issue.

I havebeen trying to buy a support contract since the merger, no luck so far. I have two different companies talking to HP with no luck thus far.

Yes I can change the ext to anything, system still freezes when I delete.

I would suggest 2 options for now :

1. Leave it in place and use another extension

2. Purge the database and rebuild it .

Unfortunatly not the greatest of options as It would be another option to give us the db and take a look but we need a case with that .
