Can't tftp software update - xmodem only option

  • 1.  Can't tftp software update - xmodem only option

    I am trying to upgrade the software on a procurve 2650, but tftp is not an option.

    I have tried to go into config mode and do a tftp client to enable it, but it tells me to disable sftp first. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find out how to do that. Any help is greatly apprectiated.

    Hi

    From the Menu, System information you can see if TFTP enabled or not:
    Tftp-enable [Yes] : Yes

    Also

    Once the Secure copy enabled you have to run sftp, otherwise you have to disable the secure transfer:

    Sw(config)#ip ssh filetransfer
