I am also testing Central NAC on the New Aruba Central platform.
I have configured a guest portal with verification enabled. Email verification is working correctly, and users successfully receive the verification code by email.
However, SMS verification is not working. The portal allows users to select SMS verification, but no SMS messages are received by the users.
I have not configured any external SMS provider (such as Twilio), because in Aruba Central Classic there was an SMS verification option available without requiring an external SMS provider.
Could you please clarify the following:
- Does Central NAC in New Aruba Central require an external SMS provider for SMS verification?
- Is there a native Aruba-provided SMS service available, similar to what was available in Classic Central?
- If SMS verification should work without an external provider, what configuration should be verified?
- Are there any licensing or tenant-specific requirements to enable SMS verification?
