Just migrated to 6.11 [from 6.9] I had taken separate insight backup - mine was ~ 2GB - but was signifigant time without feedback - assuming upload - but taking longer than I would expect - suspecting local network issue - but maybe it is "normal?" Downloading the backup took 30 minutes....
anyway the restore dialog progressed - but errored out - saying it needed to be uploaded to the node it was taken from.... insight is not running on my publisher - and only the publisher has "restore" option....
then thought it might be since the backup was from 6.9 - so I attempted again with the "Ignore version mismatch" option checked - same error
sorry no solution for you - but perhaps more details for aruba to look more seriously at this
more concerned that appears insigthdb is not available to appexternal account? insight is running - did I forget to turn a nob to activate it for appexternal access?

Hi Herman,
I'm not having any luck using Chrome developer tools or using the inspect feature when using Safari/Chrome to monitor the upload progress. The page eventually just times out and nothing happens, no message of a successful upload etc. (which I do see when uploading the config file).
I haven't yet tried to backup everything all at once including tipsdb, session and Insight - that file would be roughly 7-8GB so may experience the same issue when restoring one of the nodes - as I suspect the size of the sessiondb alone (3-5GB) may be the issue?
Thanks, Adam

I've not yet before restored only the Insight database, just as part of a restore and just assumed it would be good (so not checked). Is your database/backup large? With this screen it looks if the backup doesn't even finish uploading.
With 'developer tools' in your browser you may follow what's happening and if the upload does complete.
If there are no other people that have seen this, asking TAC to have a look may be worth trying.
