Hi community,

 

Working with a customer who has MACTrac configured and running well. He would like to enable Airgroup so students living in the dorms can register their own Apple TVs and be the only ones able to play to those devices. I've read through a document that addresses this, but there are a lot of things that are not clear. 

 

Can someone explain the steps I would need to perform to make this a functional process? 

 

We have Clearpass 6.4 and Controller 6.4.

1) Add the controllers as AirGroup controllers in the CPG configuration

2) Be sure that UDP 5999 is open between the controllers and ClearPass.

3) Enable enforce registration under AirGroup on the controller

Is there any changes that need to be done in the form for the MACTrac registration? The document I read seemed a bit over complicated.

If the AirGroup fields are in the form (they're there by default), then no.



If they're not, you'll need to add those fields back into the form. There's
around 7 fields.
