I've created an small lab on Workbench with the following: 3810M switch, 7210 controller, Mobility Master, AD server, Clearpass and a couple APs. So far I've been able to test 802.1X auth from the controller using the AD as RADIUS server and it's succesful (for now there are no wireless clients available to test an SSID).
But when I try to configure Clearpass I found 2 problems:
- I can't join the AD domain because CP needs the FQDN and I haven't found how to make the server reachable that way (I tried using its IP address as a DNS server but didn't work).
- I tried to create both wired and wireless services using the AD (without joining it) and the local database as authentication sources; but I don't see any kind of communication in the access tracker, not even an error.
Can anybody please guide me how to configure this?
