  • 1.  ClearPass on third party bare metal server

    Hi all, we are currently trying to sell ClearPass for one of our customers in Brazil. Due to their internal policies, they can only use physical appliances. As the lead-time is extremely high to deliver the HP servers to Brazil, and as they need the ClearPass up and running in less then two months, we would like to know if we can install ClearPass on a third party server (bare metal). We would use a server with similar specs as the offered by HP.

    I don't think that is supported. However you can install ClearPass as a VM using the hypervisors that are supported on any third party server.
