    hi folks,
i have a network with some cx-switches and central is not showing the ip addresses of the clients connected to the switch ports.
is there any prerequisite for central being able to show the ip addresses?

mac-addresses are shown, but not ips.

    any ideas why this is?

    thanks
    best regards
    tk

    Hey Tobias,
We do need ip client tracker [client track ip] for unauthenticated clients.

will you please expand on your answer? ip client tracker [client track ip

Also no one said anything about unauthenticated anything. These are client on the local lan and I need to see their IP's.
    Please be clear and informational.

you need two commands to show all the clients that are authenticated or not. and the commands are

    client track ip
    client track ip all-vlans
