  • 1.  CNX and PTP configurations through API...

    Hello,

    There is still no UI to create PTP configurations to switches, I found "half-way" to do it through API (Create or Update existing PTP Profile instance configurations) which can be used to create  proper profile to device groups.
    Other half of success which still missing is that I don't know how to attach proper configuration line ("ptp enable") to interface?

    I would rather user SW Port profile (/network-config/v1alpha1/sw-port-profiles) because it's easy to use by non-technical common users and it seems to hold also /network-config/v1alpha1/ethernet-interfaces configurations where there is also ptp interface configurations.

    While waiting to get "PTP: enable" configuration to CNX port profile UI is there any way to insert "ptp enable" configuration to SW Port profile?

    Hello,

    Nope!
    In Finland we have summer vacation season going on and I think local SE did not have time to dig this case profoundly.

    Found system to create proper ptp profile to switches through CNX API but now I'm stuck with one single configuration per port which is needed to run ptp transparent against packets. It seems that from CLI in Aruba Support mode I can add "ptp enable" directly to switch port and it stays there until port configuration is changed.

    I was wrong about presistence of cli config... It seemed that "ptp. enable" was removed after CNX configuration refresh.
