Configuring 387 bridges - not passing traffic

  • 1.  Configuring 387 bridges - not passing traffic

    Needing assistance getting a 387 bridge pair to pass traffic.

     

    • Setup is very basic network, no VLANS, one VC cluster configured and needed in both locations (old bldg, new bldg). Just 2 wireless SSIDs.
    • Using bridges to provide internet service from old bldg to new bldg during facility relocate.
    • 387 on old bldg set to portal, 387 on new bldg is set as point.
    • Can ping 387 on far end/new bldg from network in old bldg, but nothing behind the 387 in the new bldg.  
    • Cannot ping 387 on new building side from the network its connected to in the New bldg
    • On the VC side of things, we havent ever changed any of the default profiles.

    Just at a loss to get traffic back and forth....

    Refer to this tutorial for configuring Instant Mesh that is used for bridging and double check your configuration against it.
