    Hi guys,

Seems like that the CX6100 does not accept the config straight out from the 2530 ArubaOS switch.

Do we have a config converter anywhere that we can use to make the transition easier?

These are completely different switch operating systems. There is no automatic conversion as far as I know.

This guide can help you to understand the differences in CLI syntax and what are the equivalent commands.

We used the guide that Herman mentioned, but I would suggest creating a spreadsheet that has your entire config. Use another column to start recording the equivalent functionality in the CX platform. This will greatly help you create a new baseline configuration for future switches and help you understand the key differences between AOS and CX.

One of the things I discovered is much of what is done as a "global" configuration type item in AOS, is now done at the VLAN or interface level in the CX operating system. Or some things that you had to perform at the VLAN level is now done at the interface, such as setting your native or allowed vlans, or even spanning-tree.
