Hi, we have a requirement to send syslog message to external server. I am aware that there are 7 different logging categories, including client and network. But im not sure what is included in those 2 logs, and how deep the log is.

Can we see the IP address to specific client (or mac address) at a time period on one of those logs?

Depending on what level of logging that category is set to, you will see more or less messages. You can also filter it down to processes and subcategories as well. See article here for syslog: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c05321932
