  • 1.  Convert 303H / 303 from Unified AP to instant on?

    Hi,

     

    I bought a new 303H and 303 from work and inadvertently bought the Unified AP ones instead of the Instant-On ones.

     

    Is it possible to convert them to Instant On's?

    No, instant on is another type of AP all together.

    Another important ability added with this change was the ability to convert a controller based AP to an Instant AP at anytime from the controller GUI or CLI

     

    Implies that I can, will need to give it a crack.

    It will convert it to an InstantOS NOT an InstantON AP.

    I see. Will I be able to run the "home" settings/apps to manage it? As opposed to the full blown Aruba Central?

    You can manage an InstantOS AP either via the local GUI, Aruba Central or AirWave.
