  • 1.  Deleted WLAN still showing up

    Hey guys,

    old WLAN SSID: AMKMethodist
    new WLAN SSID: wireless@amkmc

I have this issue whereby I have deleted the old WLAN and configured a new WLAN in WLAN tab in Aruba Central. However, when my device is scanning for the Wi-FI, I am seeing both the old WLAN and new WLAN being broadcasted.

WLAN settings tab showing only 1 WLAN configured

Old WLAN(AMKMethodist) still in the config although the WLAN settings tab showing only 1 WLAN(wireless@AMKmc) configured
Anybody can advise how do I remove the old WLAN(AMKMethodist) completely so it will not be broadcasting?
    Thanks!

do you see 'AMKMethodist" SSID when you are on site or just in Aruba Central graph?

    Hi Ariyap,

I see AMKMethodist ssid when I am onsite and I also see AMKMethodist in Aruba Central graph. I think I've managed to solved the issue. I referred to this post ->https://community.arubanetworks.com/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=67&MessageKey=524b3e99-f417-45bb-a955-f29a9820403b&CommunityKey=e1202040-11b3-4eea-9f57-d903f67db2f9&tab=digestviewer&ReturnUrl=%2fcommunity-home%2fdigestviewer%3fMessageKey%3d62636911-e9c6-4221-9ad4-7f30ceb0fe50%26CommunityKey%3de1202040-11b3-4eea-9f57-d903f67db2f9

The AMKMethodist SSID is gone from Aruba Central and also no longer being broadcasted onsite.

    Thanks!
