  • 1.  Device type on AOS8 MM Client Dashboard

On AOS6, on a mobility controller's GUI, in Dashboard > Clients, you can display the device type. This makes it simple to search for a username, and pick, say, their laptop rather than their phone.

On AOS8 MM Client dashboard, there is no option for Device; not even shown when you click the "details" > for the client. On AOS8, I've been copying MACs to Clearpass to find the info.

Am I missing where to find the Device type in AOS8?

We're in the process of migrating over to AOS8, building by building, but I keep finding it harder to get basic info on the newer system

The parameter is "OS".  I see it on 8.6 and 8.7 versions of the MM.  If you don't see it, I would clear my browser cache to make sure you are seeing the latest version of the MM interface.

Thanks! I think I was just overlooking the "OS" option before!
