  • 1.  DHCP Phones on NBX100

    Hello,





    Running R_0_63 and have some phones set to DHCP by making everything 255 on teh IP settings within the LUI. The phones are working but in NBX NetSet they reporting IP addersses of all 000.000.000.000 and they are now showing up as having a lease from the DHCP server. Any ideas?

    Not sure I understand the issue . Are you having issues at layer 3 ? I understand Netset stating all zero's as it cannot read the IP address maybe due to DHCP . Not an expert here .

    Could be layer 3. I just find in interesting that the phones still work. Just to make sure in order to make the phones pull a DHCP address I go inot the LUI and progrm all "255"s in the IP addresses spaces correct?

    It depends but yes you can do it that way if you ar ein the same subnet as the NBX . Otherwise the DHCP server should be set up to give out addresses when the NBSets boot up outside of the NCP network .



    Option 184 must be set up in DHCP as well .
