    Hi all,

    when disabling Password Recovery on a 5940, we still have the option to reboot, enter extended Boot Menu on the console and boot the Switch into factory default config. My customer wants to disable this option as well because security is very important for them.

    On Aruba Switches, i can disable clear and reset buttons using the "front-panel-security" command so no one is able to boot into factory default without having CLI access. Is there anything like this on Comware as well, disabling the mentioned option?

    You may consider setting a Boot Menu password?
