  • 1.  Documentation for mesh setup with 8.13.1.1

Where can I find a proper mesh setup instructions for 8.13? In the user guide it just vaguely says the steps you need to do but doesn't explain those any better than that. I have AP-303H, AP-505H and AP-515RW for testing, production would probably be different devices but anyways these all have the same 8.13.1.1 version and connected to the same switch.

However after booting, I don't see the other APs in the management of the first one. It just lists one AP. If I try to connect to another APs management IP with browser it redirects me to the first ones management. So somehow they must be connected, even though I only see one in the management.

In the user guide there's a short mention that I need to disable extended SSID, delete SetMeUp SSID etc but there's really not that good documentation on how to actually create and verify mesh setup. Does anyone have any better information whe I could find this documentation?

    Thanks

you can refer to this technote for IAPs even though it is for 8.9, it should give you a good starting point.

Thanks I will have a lookt. Now I got so far that I got the three APs to form a cluster, even though all I did was just reset those and boot them again and again... currently I can access the network by using wireless SSID from a mesh AP, but if I connect the laptop to a wired port it reboots. I changed the default wired profile to UP and assigned to it every port but I guess I need to something else so that the AP doesn't consider it as an uplink. AP-515 did the same even though I used E1 and not E0 as I was using PoE on that port...
