  • 1.  Downloading Updates for 8325 switches on ASP

    Posted Aug 16, 2021 03:00 PM
    Hey,

I'm getting the device registration required prompt again (still?) when I try to download the software for the 8325 switches.  I've had this before and I contacted support and they sent me a 'one time courtesy download link', but it seems like some part of the process is busted.  Can someone look in to this?  I have 6 of the 8325's and they are all registered under my account.
Someone here said before that the JL625A is the 'bundle part number' that includes the fans, but the switch reports part JL635A.  I'm guessing that's why it isn't matching up.

I'll put in another TAC request, but I wanted to see if others see similar results?

Same problem here with my 8360's, Aruba can you please replace the bundle models by the base models

    8360-1# show system
    Product Name : JL722A 8360-24XF2C switch

This device registered on ASP : 8360-1 XXXXXXXXX JL722A

    ASP want :
Aruba 8360-24XF2C Power to Port 3 Fans 2 PSU Bundle (JL711A)
Aruba 8360-24XF2C Port to Power 3 Fans 2 PSU Bundle (JL710A)

Quick update -- TAC just gave me a serial number for the bundle that I was able to enter in to the system to get the download.  He said you should get an email with the data in it when you place the order (I couldn't find one).  But you might.  :)

I have opened a case and aruba changed the model reference of one of my device registered from base switch jl722 to bundle JL710  so now I can download. Will try subinterface now :)
