Wireless Access

Folks,
the wl100 driver install ends with a severe application error on a German Jornada 710.
I'm using the lastest version of the driver (downloaded yesterday) and I've done a hard reset already. Card was not inserted at the time of install.
Softreset brings up the same application error:
wl100sta.exe
0xc0000005
00ccf2ac

Any hint or work-around would be highly appreciated.

I have the same problem on a Jornada 720 (running Handheld PC 2000, WinCE core v 3.0). The CPU is a 206Mhz Strongarm.

it's the setup applet that is failing with those exception codes.

Please look at this issue and provide a new driver.

I'm using a Jornada 720 and experience the same problem with the WL100 card. When I launch the WL100 Status Icon program, I get a "Fatal Application error" on program WL100STA.exe Exception 0xc0000005 Address 00d0f2ac. Since HP & Compaq are now 1 company, I expect an updated driver. Thanks a lot.

I´m afraid I don´t have any workaround or other solution.
But, I have the same problem with the wl00-driver on a nordic Jornada 720.
I think it is really bad of HP/Compaq not to fix this during this time. It doesn´t matter if the products are old; people are still using it! (And, it wouldn´t be likely to buy a new product from them if the support is this
