    DTC 16MX is not supported by HP. HP recommends purchasing the J2064A (DTC 16RX) product as a replacement.

    DTC 16 MX is a terminal server that receive configuration by a bootp server, the DTC is in the LAN where dtcmanager software is running.

    DTC 16 RX is a terminal server that receive configuration by IP tftp, the DTC is out of the LAN where dtcmanager software is running, the DTC receive the configuration via WAN.
