  • 1.  Echo with 3102 on speaker

    I have a V3001R running 6.0.14. Original OS. All phones are set to Default Audio Suppression. Making calls on POTS lines. As the speaker call progresses it starts to echo and break up. Unusable. Take off speaker, it's fine. Happens on at least 5 phones, so I will assume all. I have 2 identical phone systems in operation and am not experiencing any problems.

    Upgrade to 6.0.63  and retest ....  Its free



    Are you using Silence Suppression or the default Compression ?



    G711 ?

    Default. Silent Suppression is off. G711 GOOD HIGH.

    So if you could please upgrade and lets retest and see how you make out . There are some audio fixes in R6.0.63 that may apply to your issue . If not then we would need to troubelshoot . Do you have a case open on this ?

    Not yet. I try to do all the obvious and easy things before I call them. I know they are better now, but I still have nightmares about their first level tech support.
