as Willem mentioned earlier, there is no current EoS announcement for 2930Fs. may be it is best to reach out to your Aruba Rep for more details.

Thanks, Willem. Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an announcement in the near future. For this particular role, innovation isn't so much a factor as relatively low cost (compared to the CX 6xxx series), feature set and it being perceived as being more robust and secure than the 19xx Instant On series switches.
@ariyap, The rep I was speaking with really knows his stuff, which is why I was surprised when I didn't see anything listed in the Portal or the Product Matrix. It's also why I wouldn't be shocked if an announcement happened in the near future.

The 2930F switches are still available and EoS doesn't have been announced.
Replacement for the 2930F is the 6200 series. Innovation is done on the CX platform. AOS-S switches (2930F) is still available but no new features will be added.

Just reaching out to see if any internal HP employees could answer this. A rep told me the 2930F was now officially End of Sale. However, being the cynical IT/Networking support person that I am, I tried looking this up. HP is usually good about putting these announcements up online... but I can't find any sort of reference to this anywhere!
Not like I haven't been expecting it for the past two years, but can anyone confirm that I'll have to move to the pricier CX6100/6200 series yet, as well as begin replacing the ones we have in the field in another five years or so when the warranty is up?
