I'm exporting the local user db from ClearPass in XML, and according to Managing Local Users

this shouldn't export the passwords in cleartext... However when exporting, I do get the password in cleartext. Version 6.11.13. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

When your exporting, set a password to protect the contents of the passwords.

    But the documentation literally states:

"The passwords of the local user accounts are not stored in clear text when exported to an XML file."

So why am I seeing the passwords?

Can you please open a TAC call and let them file a bug for this?

Although, I can see the next question coming on the Airheads forum: how can I export the passwords for the local user accounts in ClearPass ;-)

But documentation and what the product does, at least should be in sync. Maybe they decide to change the documentation...
