Howdy everyone,

I am hoping to get some insight on an issue we have run into. 

Just recently I have been tasked with upgraded our Aruba 515s to AOS10. These access points are managed by Aruba Central. We were using the internal captive portal for our BYOD network, but unfortunately that was removed in AOS10. I was savvy enough to build a simple little html form to start with, but my issue is I have NO idea how the api works to get the authenticate requests to my servers from the portal. I have not had success finding any examples that are recent or comprehensive, nor have I had luck finding any real documentation via techdocs. 

I have attached the example I have thus far with pleads pleads of help from others far more competent than myself on this matter.

Did you check Guest module on Central? For simple things it is very convenient.

While that could work, it has been requested of my director and cybersec admin that we include a custom ToS blurb and authentication back to Active Directory either via RADIUS or LDAPS.

ToS blurb is easy part in central. Just include it and request user to confirm that it has read it. :-)

AD authentication is more challenging. Currently it's not available in Guest module.

You are on your own. It has nothing to do with Central per se. In Central you will just configure external splash page URL and RADIUS servers. How you will then implement RADIUS to check with AD is at your disposal.

Clearpass has all those things sorted out, but I assume that you don't have it.

It's not just a web page, it's all infrastructure to authenticate and respond to requests appropriatelly.

There is no API in Central for what you are looking for.
