  • 1.  Fibre links on topology map

Hello. I'm starting to use a trial version of network product - HPE IMC. There are 24 HP swithes (such as 2530, 2610, 2620, 3500) in my corporate network. Some switches connected by mini-gbic SFP ports and this fibre connections are not displaing on topology map, but with simple ethernet connections all OK. I checked switch's logs: LLDP info about neighbors (that connected between each other by SFP) exist. I hope you will help me. Thanks.

I have similar switches and setup using fiber gbics. Imc does loose the links from time to time.

Setting the switches to no cdp helps. But even then I find I still get some links that disappear.

Thanks for your answer. I disabled CDP on HP switches (which connected by fibre connection) by entering no cdp run command, but it didn't help: no links on map.

Fixed problem by turning on "Enable STP Link Calculation" in system settings.
