Wireless Access

Hi all,

I have two IAP-325 that I´m struggling to connect with a standalone 7010 for a test setup. 7010 is operating on 8.11.2.0,  the APs on 8.7.1.3

Error log at the AP:

Connecting to 172.16.0.1:254... failed: Connection refused.
Error: failed to retrieve image

So I tried to update them manually,but it won't work. The APs were started on factory defaults, the automatic firmware upated finds the new version and downloads it, but then fails with:

Download status: Image verify fail

Error Log on the controller:

I also downloaded the firmware file from the support page and tried to upgrade via file upload in the GUI, same result. One time the update seemed to be succesful, but after the reboot it was still on 8.7.1.3. I tried going up in smaller steps, 8.8 or 8.10, same result.

Any Ideas what to do?

The AP-325 is not supported on 8.11. The last 8.x release to support the AP-325 is 8.10.

To get the AP-325 working on your controller, you will need to first downgrade your 7010 to 8.10.
