Subject: Firmware upgrade function in web UI for 2930M switches
Hey Herman, I was able to update all but the stacked switches I have. Do I just need to update the commander as I did the others and reboot in order to update the other members in the stack (4 switches all 2930M models).
Thank you for your assistance

Yes, a reload (reboot) of the switch is needed in order to activate the new firmware. Check what the 'default boot' firmware is and that is the new version, before you reboot.

Herman, this is my first time updating the firmware on the same model switches. Upon uploading the new version, I see primary image version as the new version (16.11.0018) and the secondary image as the old (16.04.0008). Do I just need to reboot the switch to the new image to complete the update? I'm probably overthinking this. I am also using the web UI. Appreciate the help.

Are you logged on with the same privileges (manager) on both switches?
If you don't enforce authentication, you can be logged in as operator without seeing a login prompt. And there should be an option in the UI to sign in as manager.
Without manager privileges, you won't see the upgrade options.
