Hello All, Hope Someone Can Help With This...
I have a customer with two locations. The remote office is closed on Thursday so they want to forward all calls to the HG at the main office.
Software Rev. 4.2.13 or 17 not onsite at this time…
Here is what they want to do:
Main AA Press 1 for the KY office or Press 2 for the OH office.
Option 1 Rings to HG 4954 KY Office where phones 5210 & 5242 are. Any msg. to this HG will end up on the 5210.
Also on the 5210 they want a button configured that when pressed forwards all calls to the OH office main HG 5955.
They want to be able to hit one button on either phone to forward calls to the OH office HG 5955.
Option 2 Rings to HG 5955 OH Main Office.
Configured as follows phone 5210, KY office, when the FWD to Mail button is pressed the calls are forwarded to OH HG 5955. But only when you call 5210 directly which is Correct!
If 5210 FWD is not activated calls if not answered are forwarded from the HG to 5210 via Call Coverage-Phone Number= *25210 which goes directly to 5210’s voicemail with a button on 5242 & 5210 configured when there are messages waiting (Configured in Dial plan and works correctly)
I believe the problem is with the 5242 ext. in the hunt group which basically is configured to ring when the caller hits HG 5954. At this point it appears that I cannot do both unless there is a way to manipulate the dial plan to make it happen.
