Hello All, Hope Someone Can Help With This...

I have a customer with two locations. The remote office is closed on Thursday so they want to forward all calls to the HG at the main office.

Software Rev. 4.2.13 or 17 not onsite at this time…

Here is what they want to do:

Main AA Press 1 for the KY office or Press 2 for the OH office.

Option 1 Rings to HG 4954 KY Office where phones 5210 & 5242 are. Any msg. to this HG will end up on the 5210.

                Also on the 5210 they want a button configured that when pressed forwards all calls to the OH office main HG 5955.

                They want to be able to hit one button on either phone to forward calls to the OH office HG 5955.

Option 2 Rings to HG 5955 OH Main Office.

Configured as follows phone 5210, KY office, when the FWD to Mail button is pressed the calls are forwarded to OH HG 5955. But only when you call 5210 directly which is Correct!

If 5210 FWD is not activated calls if not answered are forwarded from the HG to 5210 via Call Coverage-Phone Number= *25210 which goes directly to 5210’s voicemail with a button on 5242 & 5210 configured when there are messages waiting (Configured in Dial plan and works correctly)

I believe the problem is with the 5242 ext. in the hunt group which basically is configured to ring when the caller hits HG 5954. At this point it appears that I cannot do both unless there is a way to manipulate the dial plan to make it happen.

How many NBX systems ?

What version of code ? R4.2 is non supported anymore . Only 6.0.63 and 6.5.22 codes . we cna assist on feture set up but nothing else . 

Thru an Aa you can send the calls to a hunt group and foprward that hunt group to an outside number . I need to know how you get between the 2 sites .

Just one system in OH, KY has a chassis with an analog card configured for 911. The sites are connected via a point to point T1. The customer is reluctant to upgrade but if I can get this to work I can keep him using the phone system and work in an upgrade to offer more features. I had configured a AA but they don't want to do anymore then push a button. I had configured an AA but did have some problems with the 2nd phone when trying to fwd to OH. Before it would forward the HG would send it right to VM... Hmmm wonder if I play around with the amount of rings allowing the fwd to kick in before the HG transfers to VM...

Probably way off and it sucks that my spare/test box is out at a customers site waiting for parts on their's...

I will assume that when you say point to point t1 , a data t1 ? 

So you need to forward out of the NBX via telco lines over to the other location . 

In youR AA , you will place a dummy hutn group and forward the number via the hunt group . So in your Aa , say , Choice 2 will be a hutn group and in that dummy hunt group you set the call  coverage timer to 5 and then place the telephone number of the site in Ky . Not sure about how you will work the calls in Kentucky but that will get the calsl tot hem via telco lines ,.

You can use a day and nite AA if you like as You can point to a different location by using the open closed lunch and other settings in the analog line card ports and in the system business hours settings . You can also force the system clsoed and you can fwd to the hunt group directly without the AA , and then to the outside number in the hunt group or to the AA first and they can dial 1 or 2 or 3 or whatever you set up .
