The documentation that you refer to seems specific for SD-Branch. I have not see the Foundation Base license in combination with campus deployment.
Maybe opening a support ticket can provide more clarity.

Hello Herman,
Thank you for your answer. No, it is not deployed as SD-Branch mode. This is a group AOS-08 where we have 1 Aruba Gateway, couple switches and some Access points. On the WAN side, one of the Aruba Gateway interface is connected to a local switch, then to a Firewall before exiting to the outside world.
Thanks.

Have you deployed in SD-Branch mode?

Hello all,
I hope I post in the correct section, which I've been looking for an answer for the following: a site using Classic Central with Group AOS-08 has an Aruba Gateway with "Foundation Base" license. I was expecting to have the number of users to be limited to 75 (as per the following -> https://arubanetworking.hpe.com/techdocs/central/2.5.8/content/sd-branch/get-started/gw_subscriptions.htm).
Yet we see that number of simultaneous users (all wireless) being far above 75 on a daily basis. And with no complain and no alarm (despite "Gateway base license capacity limit exceeded" alarm activated).
How is this possible ?
Thanks.
