    Hello,

     

    I have a few question about GRE L2 tunnels. Where there is not much info about.

     

    So where is the “tunnel mode gre XXX” command used for. I now make the tunnel id and the tunnel mode GRE the same nummer but what does it do or is it used for and what is the max 1-?

     

    The keepalive of the tunnel. What kind of keepalive is it? And is it inside or outside the tunnel. So it is an keepalive between the source and destination of the tunnel? If there is an firewall in between do I need something else than GRE 47 open between it?

     

    If the tunnel at one side is a VRRP address. Is the return traffic from the VRRP address or the physical address of the controller?

     

    Is it possible to configure two tunnels between the same controllers both with the same source and destination address on it but different tunnel id and tunnel mode gre number.

    1 tunnel is trusted and the other untrusted.
