    Hi guys,

     

     I was to deploy a IAP tomorrow and i have some concern. How about if i will assign my IAP and ip address of 192.168.50.20 with a gateway of 192.168.50.1. Then here is my question. What IP will the IAP give to the Users who are connected to that AIP and is it possible to use IP ranging in an IAP to monitor the given IP ?

    The IAP has a very rudimentary DHCP server.  For best performance, you should use an external DHCP server.  You will then be able to reserve DHCP ip addresses for your clients.
