Wireless Access

Hi Everyone. We are experiencing huge difference in upload/download speed. Circuit is 500 MB. on Wifi we get 300 download while upload > 450. On wired network we got both upload and download above 450. We are not using any type of bandwidth contract.  What can be the issue.

Your wifi clients are not equally efficient on the upload vs. downloads.  This can vary by client.  In addition, since the transmit power of clients can differ from the transmit power of the access point, that is another reason for them to be different.  In other words, it is not mandatory or expected that your upload exactly matches your downloads...there are reasons why it would be different.
