Subject: How to configure Master Redundancy (HA) when I operating single standalone 7220 Controller.
I assume you do not have Mobiity Masters deployed to manage the controllers, and that you ar enot using Aruba Central/AOS10 for this. If thats the case and these are going to be AOSv8 gateways, see the post here: https://airheads.hpe.com/discussion/aos-8-ha. You can set up the two gateways in an HA pair. Here is a nice writeup on the procedure: https://www.flomain.de/2017/11/master-standby-arubaos-8/

Subject: How to configure Master Redundancy (HA) when I operating single standalone 7220 Controller.
I am currently operating one standalone controller, but I want to add another one to create a master redundancy structure.
I think I should make VRRP both controller.
And configure conductor-redundancy through ipsec authentication both controller.
After redundancy is complete, then make ha-profile and configure
Is my way of thinking correct?
One thing I'm wondering is, I understand that things like WLAN (virtual AP) usually need to be configured in MM,
but is it okay to bundle them with the existing settings already in place?
I am looking for references on adding one unit to an existing controller,
but all the references I found is explain about combining two controller in a factory reset state.
Could you guys help me some doing this??
