  • 1.  How to find aruba central version

    Posted Jun 10, 2020 06:16 AM

    Hi,

    I found an old post on how to find the aruba central version, but this does not seem to work anymore -> No version information in the url.

    Buy looking at the source code of the html page I found

    window.VERSION = '2.5.1'; so I think I'm on AC 2.5.1

    Is there some GUI Option to the the version?

    Markus

    You can check the version with the following URL once logged in:

    https://app.central.arubanetworks.com/admin/version

    Also, if you select Help (?) -> Documentation Center it will show you the version in the URL.

    This was good advice back before GreenLake.  Now the only way I can tell is to view the source of the webpage.   Any idea why the Central version is such a well-concealed Aruba secret?  When documents refer to what is supported in a given version, it'd be a halla nice thing to be able to tell what version is running!   Maddening waste of time to dig for this.
