    Hello, experts

    Is it possible to force a VLAN interface with a command to remain always up, even if no equipment is connected to the switch?

    That is not possible. If this is needed for management purposes use loopback interfaces.

    Tagging that VLAN Id to a port used for an uplink (so the port is necessarily in up state with the uplink connected)...it's a way.
