  • 1.  How to update Virtual CX Switch running on ESXi or NAy HyperVisro

    Hi

    I am running a virtual CX switch on ESXi , currently ver 10.6.0001 , i want to upgrade it to 10.6.0110 , Can i do it without redeploying the new OVA ,
    upgrade the current running Virtual Switch
    I do not seem to find an update firmware to upload to the virtual switch

    Hi,

    You need  to redeploy a new image
    Upgrade is not supported on OVA Image

    Correct. No support of OVA upgrade yet.
    One way to preserve configuration is to save, export, restore configuration by connecting OOBM interface to your external network,
    and use either web-UI or tftp to export/re-import configuration or checkpoint.
