Hi,

I am having trouble with the HP 3800-48G-PoE+-4SFP+ Switch running on KA.15.12.0010.
Device doesn't respond to the SNMP queries at all.
Swich has IP address configured and SNMP setting applied:

snmp-server community COM1 operator unrestricted
snmp-server community COM2 manager unrestricted

Other switches (2620-24-PoE+) on the same VLAN and with the same SNMP setting applied do respond.

Any idea how to solve this issue?

Problem solved. It was not switch type or OS version specific.

As this particular swith has several SVI interaces, it has responded with other IP address.

By specifyig source interface for response, I can now get response from interface I want.

snmp-server response-source [ip address of interface]
