I want to trunk a 5300 core to cisco 5360.

I actually have it setup and it appears to be working, but I cannot reach the managment interface of the Cisoc switch.

I created an interface for each vlan on the cisco 3560. now I've done some reading and I think this is incorrect. I just want the cisco to be L2.

Do i just need to remove the intrfaces for all vlans execpt the Default vlan?

How do I put a managment iP on the cisco without a vlan interface?

You can assign a management IP to VLAN 1 on the Cisco box. This is what Cisco recommends you use this as the Management VLAN anyway.

Make sure that VLAN 1 is tagged on the trunk on the HP5400...

    Good Luck !!!
