  • 1.  HP iMC Active / Backup server Alarm

    Hi All,

    if im installing two iMC servers with one license one has a primary and the second as a backup. the two server's ip address are been updtaed in the network devices (SNMP / SNMP TRAP / SHH / SYSLOG).

    will i recive an alaram two my email from both iMC ?

    Yes you will recieve the same alarm from both imc servers using email if you send traps to both active and backup

    for some reason the backup iMC is sending false alarm (device disconnected , unreachable , etc') but the devices are up and alive and the icmp and snmp from the backup iMC to them is working.

    is there a way in the backup iMC  to verify that's everything is OK?  or can we disable the alarm from the backup IMC?
