I have a jetdirect 615n with main cpu VT22192-ZYA10W9.Z1.
The problem is that printer does not recognize the jetdirect card and card is not blinking when you insert the RJ45 cable into it.
After a little measurement of that card i wonder that the main CPU after power up is adressing the first adress on CMOS (AM29LV160DB-70EC) and than hang (no changes on adress bus). So i think that the CPU does not have accurate freqvency.
But:
When I replace the X-Cristal(25MHz) for that CPU by 20MHz then printer can recognie the JET direct card. You can just setup the card (IP adress and etc...) but the card is not communicating with ethernet (no activity, no packets, no link).
So by chanching the main freqvency you can liven up that card, but of course is not working correctly.
I think that 2 reasons could be a problem:
1. CPU is bad and damaged, they can not work with higher freqvency.
2. CMOS memory are bad or damaged, they can not work with higher freqvency.
And of course i do not have an H/W meter and osciloscope, just some Voltmeters and freqvency meter.
Have anybody some ideas?
>>>OR HAVE ANYBODY DATASHEET FOR THAT CPU<<<
