    Hello

I have the HP 2626 switch, with latest firmware.

It is possible in any way to do policy based routing ?

P.S. This thread has been moved from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to ProCurve / ProVision-Based. - Hp Forum moderator

The 2600 series procurve switches only supported Basic IP routing. Which enables automatic routing to the connected VLANs and up to 16 static routes, including one default route, in IP networks.

PBR is only available in the 5400 and 8200 based switches (if you want to stick with the Procurve style switches).

NOTE: while the 3500yl, 6600 run the same code as the 5400/8200 they do NOT support PBR, got burnt by that once.

You can also get PBR in some of the H3C/3com based switches that HP inherited from its aquisition.

Some of the models that support PBR are

    3610

5500 El (note it has to be the El series not the Sl series)

    5800/58020/5830

    7500

    9500

    10500
