Hello Community,
We have an older HP ProCurve 5400zl running K.16.02.0026 that now needs to support OSPF. The provider's requirements for the configuration on their side are quite strict:
router ospf x vrf xyz
router-id x.y.z.z
ispf
auto-cost reference-bandwidth 10000 ! with 1GE
capability vrf-lite
timers throttle spf 100 100 100
timers throttle lsa 0 10 10
timers lsa arrival 0
timers pacing flood 5
timers pacing retransmission 10
interface gi x/y/z
ip ospf dead-interval 3
ip ospf hello-interval 1
Special focus is on timer tuning.
I believe I have already found the correct commands for dead and hello intervals, and since these timers can be adjusted, I assume that establishing an OSPF adjacency should still be possible.
timers throttle spf 100 100 100 – this is the only one where I found something similar (however, on HPE it's in the seconds range (1–3600), while on Cisco it's in milliseconds).
Does anyone have a tip for me on how, or if, this can be implemented on this switch?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Sebastian
