  • 1.  HPE 5130 EI Switch reports high CPU utilization

    Experts,

    HPE 5130 EI switch configured as a 5x IRF stack configuration is recently reporting "IUCT" process being high percentages causing CPU being busy and it gets the netwrok unstable condition. SNMP monitoring by Zabbix is working on it. Does anyone have any idea on how we start troubleshooting this?

    Hi,

    Make sure the switch is running with Latest version. 

    All switch unit shows high CPU or any specific switch unit shows high utilization. 

    CPU spike is random or always high ?

    there are many things to be analysed Better contact technical support team to troubelshoot further.

    Hi Bala,

    Thanks for the reply - the switch is running with R3115P05, which is not latest.

    CPU spike is getting high little by little and affected switches are really random.
