Wireless Access

I'm am having no luck on configuring 2 modems for a HP B180L. I am running HPUX 10.20. It is a legacy project and I cannot tell where the previous sys admin left off. I tried to configure the 2 modems through SAM(one for incoming, one for outgoing calls) with no success. I've never configured modems for a HP box before and cannot believe it is this difficult. Can anybody give my some pointers?

Usually I would tell you to use SAM to configure the modems. What specifically is failing, or what indication do you have that it is not working? It would be helpfull is you attached the /etc/uucp/Systems and Devices files and /etc/inittab.

Maybe if we knew a little more of the problem it would help diagnose it. Also what kind of modem(s) and pinout of the cables used.
