Wireless Access

Hi there, we want to do an activer site survey using an IAP305. So we take the IAP305 with us everywhere in the building, and want to power it with a portable PoE injector / battery. So we can do the site survey.

But the IAP won't send any signal on the radios without having an IP from DHCP (enet LED is off). Is there a way to let the IAP send signal without an IP, because we cannot connect it to the network during walking all rooms. And small router is not able to conenct to the portable battery.

Please let me know!
