  • 1.  IAP207 - Background spectrum

    Hello !

    Has anyone had trouble enabling "Background Spectrum Monitoring" in IAP207?

    I made the configuration (attachment) and rebooted the AP, but the feature is not enabled.

     

    This support is confirmed on DATA SHEET.

    Unfortunately, spectrum analysis is not supported on (I)AP-207, AP-203H and AP-203R(P)

    Onno, thanks for the help!

    Regarding this case, Aruba was wrong to put the information that supports this feature in the Data Sheet. I as partner Aruba, could have sold the wrong product to my client.

    I agree, and you can blame me for that (datasheet content). The datasheet has been corrected some time ago, but this was indeed originally wrong.

    If this is a critical feature for your customers, you could explore upgrading them to the newly released AP-303, which will start shipping soon.
