Controllerless Networks

I am having an issue converting an IAP315 running 6.5.0.3 code to a CAP with the controllers running 6.5.1.5. Every time I go about doing this, the "Retrive image failed" error comes up.

 

Everything is on the correct vlan, and the AP is currently i nthe same building as the controller.

Does the controller have CPsec enabled?

I am unsure. I will say, there are about 1000 other IAPs that were moved to
this controller. All 315s.

Can you ping the controller from the AP?

Do you have enough licenses ?

Do you have CPSec turned on ?

Run the following command on the controller : show log system all | include
The logs may reflect the reason the AP is not able to fully get converted
