IAP/Switches managed through UI template

    Hello Folks, 

    I have IAP and 2930M switches managed through central using UI template, 

    because UI template is limited in term of switch configuration we are thinking about moving all IAPs and switch to group template, 

     

    right now, we have a lot of configuration running over different groups (50 switches and 200 APs)

    and I'm not sure about risks that we may face if we decided to migrate IAP/switch from UI to group template, 

    what are the issues that I may face with this migration? 

    is it always recommended to use group template? if so why we have a UI template with limited config for switches? 

     

    any other idea that may help is welcome!
